I had another doctor visit today and it went great! Little heartbeat was at 154 and sounded so wonderful. My next appointment is Sept. 24th when we find out if we're having a little girl or boy! So excited about that one!! I'm so ready to start getting more things together: bedding, decor, sewing, etc.
I really started to feel movement this week! Today, Baby B was really shakin' it around 2 p.m. I'll post a pic later of the bump.
I have to share this precious website: Cuteasabuttontyler.com
This girl's mom works with me at Hogg. I really want to get a personalized chair when we find out the gender/name. Just too cute!

halfway!
How far along? 20 wks
Total weight gain/loss: ok, 15 pounds
Maternity clothes? of course
Stretch marks? none yet
Sleep: still the same
Best moment this week: having a stranger notice my baby bump
Movement: quite a bit now
Food cravings: oranges still
Gender: I have no clue now
Labor Signs: None
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: hmmm a glass of wine right now
What I am looking forward to: having a stranger ask if I'm pregnant. I still kinda think it looks like I ate too many oreos.
Weekly Wisdom: I can wear heels, but it may hurt the next day. duh
Milestones: Going to Guinn's bachelorette party and making it...most of the night! And I'm halfway now!

School's back
I cannot believe how tired I am after the last two days of teaching. I am just really worn out. I'm kinda worried that if I'm feeling this way now, how will I feel in a couple months.

gender predictions
I'm always hearing Old Wives' Tales about what the gender might be if I'm doing this or that, so I thought I'd put a couple of them on here that I'm experiencing for fun.
Boy:
If you prefer sleeping on your left side, you'll have a boy. (It's hard to sleep on my right side)
Extreme nausea means you are having a daughter. (I don't know if mine was extreme...)
If you're craving citrus while pregnant, you're having a girl. (Love oranges)
If your face gets fuller, it means you're having a girl. (pretty sure my face is looking big)
If the baby's heart beats more than 150 times per minute, you're pregnant with a girl. (167 at last visit)
If you dream about having a girl while pregnant, you will wind up having a boy and vice versa.(I've dreamed about having a boy)
So really, there's no telling what we're having until September 24th!
Boy:
If you prefer sleeping on your left side, you'll have a boy. (It's hard to sleep on my right side)
If your hands are dry during pregnancy, you are having a boy. (I'm constantly putting lotion on my hands)
If you feel as though you're gliding through they day, you'll have a girl. Stumbling? It's a boy. (Feeling pretty clumsy a lot)
If your age and year of conception are both even or odd, it's girl. One even, one odd means a boy.
A child tends to be of the same sex as the parent who is less stressed at the time of conception. (I think that ones weird..never heard of it)

Maybe it's hormones?
I am going to kick my husband in the nuts the next time he refers to his sister's pregnancy. For example, I say, as I'm eating an orange, "I really love oranges right now".
Sam: "Really? Stephanie loved them when she was pregnant with Cade"
What I want to say: "Really?? B/C I don't care."
What I say: Nothing.
