School's back

I cannot believe how tired I am after the last two days of teaching. I am just really worn out. I'm kinda worried that if I'm feeling this way now, how will I feel in a couple months.

gender predictions

I'm always hearing Old Wives' Tales about what the gender might be if I'm doing this or that, so I thought I'd put a couple of them on here that I'm experiencing for fun.

Boy:
If you prefer sleeping on your left side, you'll have a boy. (It's hard to sleep on my right side)

If your hands are dry during pregnancy, you are having a boy. (I'm constantly putting lotion on my hands)

If you feel as though you're gliding through they day, you'll have a girl. Stumbling? It's a boy. (Feeling pretty clumsy a lot)

If your age and year of conception are both even or odd, it's girl. One even, one odd means a boy.

A child tends to be of the same sex as the parent who is less stressed at the time of conception. (I think that ones weird..never heard of it)

Girl:

Extreme nausea means you are having a daughter. (I don't know if mine was extreme...)
If you're craving citrus while pregnant, you're having a girl. (Love oranges)
If your face gets fuller, it means you're having a girl. (pretty sure my face is looking big)
If the baby's heart beats more than 150 times per minute, you're pregnant with a girl. (167 at last visit)
If you dream about having a girl while pregnant, you will wind up having a boy and vice versa.(I've dreamed about having a boy)

So really, there's no telling what we're having until September 24th!

Maybe it's hormones?

I am going to kick my husband in the nuts the next time he refers to his sister's pregnancy. For example, I say, as I'm eating an orange, "I really love oranges right now".
Sam: "Really? Stephanie loved them when she was pregnant with Cade"

What I want to say: "Really?? B/C I don't care."
What I say: Nothing.

Heartbeat

We heard the heartbeat today! It just sounded so precious. Baby B's heartbeat was at 168, so I've heard since it's high it could be a girl!

I've been feeling better lately. The zofran has helped immensely! I didn't take it last night until 7:30 and I could feel the nausea coming on. It's really been a blessing.
